We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Brand Strategy Manager, reporting to the Executive Manager, Brand.

A bit about your role

As the Brand Strategy Manager, you will shape the future of the nbn brand by leading strategic initiatives that drive clarity, preference and relevance across all touchpoints. This will see you developing and embedding brand frameworks, positioning strategies and messaging platforms that strengthen nbn’s presence and impact in the market. You will work closely with internal teams across Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Product and Customer Experience, as well as external creative and brand agency partners, to ensure brand strategy is consistently applied and commercially effective.

Your work will involve creating compelling value propositions and translating insights into actionable strategies that inform campaigns and customer/partner experiences. You will leverage research and market analysis to build frameworks that enable consistent messaging across diverse audiences and channels, ensuring the brand remains distinctive and trusted.

A bit about you

You are an experienced brand strategist with a strong background in brand planning and positioning within complex environments. You bring expertise in developing brand strategies that deliver commercial outcomes and have a deep understanding of customer segmentation and integrated marketing approaches. Your ability to translate insights into clear frameworks and creative briefs makes you a valued partner to both internal teams and agency collaborators.

You thrive in collaborative environments and are confident managing multiple projects. With strong influencing skills and a keen eye for detail, you ensure brand strategy is not only well-designed but effectively executed. Your experience across B2B and B2C brand strategies, and familiarity with telecommunications, technology or other regulated sectors, will be highly regarded. Above all, you are passionate about building brands that connect with people and create meaningful impact.
