A Snapshot 

As the Finance Manager you will report to the Group Finance Manager, and work closely with the rest of the Finance team, making your mark in a number of ways: 

We have an exciting opportunity for a fixed-term contract lasting 6 months! This role is perfect for someone on a short-term visa looking to gain valuable experience.


  • Providing leadership to finance staff by building a positive culture and the delivery and meeting of key objectives
  • Manage the year-end Group financial statement close process and Group audit
  • Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, e.g. auditors, tax advisors, development and facilities teams 
  • Provide provision of accounting advice to the business and other finance teams
  • Business partnering together with the Group Finance Manager and the broader Financial Control team to help drive the growth of the business throughout the Asia Pacific market 

Your Day to Day 

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements (with a focus balance sheet and cash flow reporting)
  • Preparation consolidation and elimination entries
  • Manage the year-end Group financial statement close process and Group audit
  • Manage the financial statement close process for the Group’s Australian subsidiaries 
  • Provision of accounting advice to the business and other finance teams
  • Assist in the development of and implementation of internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Assist with driving out key finance projects
  • Assist in the continued development of the finance team through business process improvement or exploring technological solutions to increase efficiencies 
  • Business partnering together with the Group Finance Manager and the broader Financial Control team to help drive the growth of the business throughout the Asia Pacific market
  • Other ad hoc projects where required 

 

Requirements  

  • A minimum of 3 years’ post qualification, relevant experience in industry, preferably construction, infrastructure or real estate
  • CA/CPA qualified 
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Tax exposure preferred but not essential
  • Exposure to APAC jurisdictions is highly preferable 
  • Leadership experience  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and ever-changing environment
  • Desire to influence the policies, procedures and overall financial governance of a growing business
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
