SKUTOPIA is on a mission to democratise and decarbonise logistics.

SKUTOPIA is a deep-tech logistics company operating under a dual RaaS (Robotics-as-a-Service) and SaaS model. We deliver end-to-end, AI-powered robotic fulfilment for retailers - eliminating inefficiencies inherent in traditional 3PL models, such as human error, high labour costs, and carbon-heavy processes.

Our advanced robotics and proprietary AI empower our customers to scale faster with high-speed, high-quality fulfilment at a fraction of the typical cost - while also driving both revenue and profit growth.

Founded in 2018 by Talea Bader and Emily Townsend, SKUTOPIA began as Sydney’s first eCommerce co-working space. After witnessing firsthand the logistics challenges faced by SMBs, the founders evolved the business into a tech-first fulfilment solution.

About The Role

We are looking for an Operations and Automation Analyst to join the Operational Excellence Team, reporting to the Head of Operations. Ideally you will bring an analytical mindset to the role with the ability to analyse complex outcomes through your curious nature and ability to ask qualifying questions. This role will suit candidates who are still early in their operations career and have ambitions to grow within the Continuous Improvement and Operations space. You will support the team to evaluate existing processes, define, present and help implement your solutions, whilst working with multiple SKUTOPIA stakeholders in order to help them grow and optimise their operations. In parallel, you will help the Operational Excellence Team to develop the different future operational requirements, supporting expansion and providing support on small projects to complex automations. Operational Excellence is a growing team helping the business achieve long term goals. The mission of the team is to bring logistics expertise, develop processes and engineering systems as well as guiding the business decisions based on supply chain analytics.

In this role you will:

● Analyse Fulfilment Centre (FC) data and documentation and consider improvements.

● Provide on-the-ground support for operational teams to identify areas for continuous improvement to processes.

● Audit the effectiveness of existing processes and report insights back to the Operational Excellence team.

● Support different stakeholders by providing logistics expertise in a large-scale industrial environment.

● Support external discussions between SKUTOPIA and partners.

● Track effectiveness of implemented solutions on a monthly basis.

● SOP creation and development

Work with the Head of Operations to ensure that all aspects of an operation or process

meet specified regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in support of continuous improvement activities.

Drive project development and project execution.

We think you will need:

● Strong experience in Supply Chain, preferably within a warehousing and logistics environment.

● Creative and open mindset.

● High level of analysis and long term view.

● Lean and Six Sigma methodologies knowledge (desirable).

● Adaptable and hands on approach.

Salary range - $80,000 - $90,000
