The Opportunity
Predominantly a field-based role, the Orthopaedic Technology Specialist is primarily responsible for a seamless onboarding, skills development, best-in-class customer experience, and will play a key role in elevating the proficiency of our internal teams and of our Surgeon customer base in the use of our technology platforms and core implant systems. Key responsibilities include:
Driving technology integration and accelerating the adoption of implant and technology solutions through strategic customer-first execution, supporting the onboarding of new Surgeons and identifying opportunities for Professional Education engagement
Assessing and enhancing customer knowledge, techniques and workflow integration of our implant systems, and playing a key role in further driving market penetration, particularly in the robotics segment whilst ensuring optimal patient outcomes
Assisting in the onboarding and building high performing sales and clinical teams through increased product knowledge, technology understanding and clinical application, and identifying skills/knowledge gaps in internal staff for targeted upskilling
Championing customer experience excellence by ensuring smooth integration of new technologies, and providing specialist hyper care to existing Surgeon base who are facing technology or patient outcome challenges
About You
Degree qualified with a strong clinical or technology background in orthopaedics, preferably within hip, knee and robotics
Proven experience in training and education or field support within a healthcare or medtech environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams
Self-starter who is solutions focused, with a strong passion for innovation, continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer experiences
