Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Partnership Manager to join our Group Life team in Sydney. The TAL Partnerships team ensures our superannuation partners receive exceptional service, leading direct interactions and working with internal teams to meet partner expectations. We focus on building long-term, sustainable relationships that create value for both TAL and our partners.
In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for key corporate and superannuation fund partners, supporting everything from claims and technology updates to member experience and regulatory requirements. You’ll build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes. This is a very fast-paced role with lots of enquiries coming in daily so if you can multi-task, confidently work across multiple funds where your stakeholders come first, this role is for you.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with an ideal start date of mid-January 2026.
In this role you will:
- Manage and strengthen relationships across multiple superannuation fund partners, ensuring they receive exceptional support and guidance.
- Navigate daily partner enquiries across claims processes, technology updates, member experience initiatives and regulatory requirements.
- Work across multiple group superannuation funds, each with their own processes and ways of working, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across Claims, Technology, Product, Corporate Affairs and broader business units to meet partner needs and uplift overall experience.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data, insights and partner feedback to drive better outcomes.
- Represent TAL with professionalism, curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in group insurance, wholesale insurance, or superannuation (2+ years preferred).
- Background in master trust, corporate insurance, or consulting within superannuation/life insurance highly regarded.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage high enquiry volumes.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel essential; experience with Power BI and Co-pilot highly beneficial.
- A growth mindset - driven, curious, eager to learn, with the ambition to develop and grow within Group Insurance long term.
