Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Contribution to the development of the project pipeline and management of full pipeline for the business unit, working with Procurement Category Managers, Procurement Operations, and other functional stakeholders to realise value potential.
- Supporting project sprints relating to Direct to Value and Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives.
- Drive significant projects from ideation to execution.
- Identify and use the most appropriate analytical tools, techniques and systems to analyse and interpret a wide range of supplier and organisational information and develop reports, forecasts and advice to inform and support procurement.
- Develop, assess and provide reports for the effective management of supplier performance and to track and report on benefits delivered.
- Gather and document requirements in preparation for multiple market approaches for services to meet organisational priorities.
- Participate in cost teardown exercises and maintain database of cost structure for relevant direct materials within the business unit.
- Perform financial analysis, operational reviews, best practice surveys, and benchmarking (internal and external) to discover new areas of value creation.
About you:
- Experience across procurement, supply chain, R&D, and operations is advantageous; experience in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) is highly regarded.
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable-able to support shifting priority projects as required.
- Excellent communication, networking, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Leverages their ability to operate with a sense of urgency
- Professional knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong understanding of business functions with proven ability to lead cross-functional stakeholder groups.
- Change management experience is a plus.
