Your New Role and Responsibilities  

Join our team and help support the program management office for a large Federal Government program. Reporting day to day to the PMO Manager you will: 

  • Lead project and program financial control activities, including workforce planning, forecasting, actuals review and analysis, EAC reviews, Management Reserve planning, FTE baseline management, and guidance on back-to-green plans and change control requests—requiring strong financial acumen and advanced Excel skills. 

  • Support the transition from SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint O365, using Power Automate and Power Apps; assist with ongoing site development and maintenance to enhance efficiency and quality. 

  • Assist with project and program administration, including stage gate reviews, Employee Work Authorisation emails, reporting coordination, document quality checks, onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining process documentation and templates. 

  • Coordinate and lead regular risk reviews, supporting project and program risk management across the team. 

  • Support program communications, including managing PMO mailboxes, distribution lists, the Communications Plan, and stakeholder register. 

What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact  

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a proven capacity to use initiative to analyse and resolve issues. 

  • Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps, including developing SharePoint solutions; Power BI reporting skills will be highly regarded. 

  • Project and program management knowledge, supported by PMI CAPM or PPM certification; experience in financial planning and control within projects/programs.

  • ITIL Foundation certification, demonstrating understanding of IT service management principles. 

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance and be able to uplift to NV-1 level clearance.
