We are looking for a Senior Engineer who will serve as the subject matter expert for Coupa and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes across our global organization. This role will focus on optimizing, automating, and scaling procurement and finance workflows, ensuring our systems are robust, efficient, and aligned with business growth. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, Accounting, and Technology teams, acting as both a technical lead and a strategic partner.

Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Ownership & Engineering
- Own the design, configuration, administration, and support of Coupa as the primary P2P system
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze current workflows and re-architect processes for efficiency, compliance, and scalability
- Manage system enhancements, upgrades, and new feature deployments to align with evolving business needs
Process Optimization & Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes across requisition, PO management, invoice processing, and approvals
- Implement workflow simplifications that reduce cycle times and improve compliance
- Define and monitor system KPIs/metrics to measure effectiveness and track improvements
Integrations & Data Management
- Oversee integrations between Coupa and core financial systems (NetSuite, Concur, HRIS, and banking/payment platforms)
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reconciliation across procurement and finance systems
- Collaborate with integration teams (APIs, middleware, ETL tools) to maintain reliable system connectivity
Governance, Compliance & Support
- Ensure P2P processes adhere to audit, SOX, and internal control requirements
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security within Coupa
- Provide tier-2/3 support for escalated issues, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes
Collaboration & Leadership
- Serve as the primary technical advisor on Coupa and P2P for business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with clear documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and admins, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Act as a change champion, ensuring successful adoption of new workflows and system enhancements
- 8+ years of experience in system engineering, administration, or consulting, with a focus on Coupa and Procure-to-Pay processes
- Strong knowledge of ERP/Finance platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and their integration with procurement tools
- Hands-on experience with system configurations
- Proven success in process automation and workflow optimization within global organizations
- Solid understanding of finance and procurement operations, including requisition, purchase orders, invoicing, payments, and compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex workflows
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
