Full-Time Hybrid HR & DEI Specialist

Location: North Sydney, Australia (3-4 days on-site per week)

Are you passionate about HR and driving meaningful change through diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)? Probe Group is looking for a proactive HR Specialist to join our team in a unique hybrid role. You’ll dedicate three days a week to generalist HR responsibilities and two days a week to DEI initiatives, playing a pivotal role in cultivating an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (3 Days Per Week):

  • Partner with leaders to provide strategic HR guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.

  • Support managers with employee engagement, performance management, and professional development programs.

  • Manage employee relations to ensure compliance with legal standards and cultivate a positive work environment.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, focusing on employee retention and succession planning.

  • Analyze HR metrics to inform and enhance decision-making processes.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (2 Days Per Week):

  • Develop and implement DEI strategies that align with our organizational goals.

  • Lead initiatives to increase awareness and understanding of DEI principles across the business.

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure policies and practices support equity and inclusion.

  • Track and report on DEI metrics, using data to measure progress and inform improvements.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build and maintain an inclusive workplace culture.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.

  • Demonstrated success in implementing DEI strategies or leading related initiatives.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.

  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

  • A passion for creating a positive, inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
