The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Shipping and Receiving Specialist (Team Lead Warehouse Operations) to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the E-7A Wedgetail. It is a bespoke retail warehouse with a team of three staff which support aircraft operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead warehouse operations including timely manners as a team.
  • Own and Lead transactions in warehouse inventory and accounts including Serviceable, Repairable, Quarantine and Disposal Accounts in accordance with Commonwealth and Boeing policy and procedures.
  • Support distribution of inventory to meet all internal and external customers' requirements which includes repairable items in order to meet the operational schedules.
  • While working alongside the customer you also provide direct support to all internal and external customers.
  • Processing (Inventory Management System) transactions and inquires to support project activities as required.
  • Continue to drive and support a strong safety culture that aligns with Boeing policy.
  • Apply lean and continuous improvement ideas as a team member.

Experience/Qualifications
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Desirable SAP 4 HANA D&S
  • Provisional or Full Car Licence
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Secret security clearance. (NV1)
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
