This position reports to the FP&A Senior Manager and will work closely with the rest of the Finance team and various teams across the company. We are looking for a self-starter who possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings to a wide variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who is able to analyze large datasets, proactively digs into the data and trends, and displays intellectual curiosity.
What You’ll Do:
- Assume ownership of various monthly revenue and expense models, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing support utilized for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
- Maintain and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly materials for financial review meetings, highlighting variances between Forecast/Plan/Prior Year. Present findings to senior business leaders, clearly communicating changes and drivers. Proactively identify future trends and their impacts to forecast.
- Build and analyze dashboards in Excel and data visualization tools, drawing conclusions and insights to provide recommendations and proposals for Finance and across the organization.
- Assist with the investigation, evaluation, and assessment of data, while partnering with the business intelligence team to develop standardized reporting and dashboards.
- Strive to improve processes, reporting, and procedures. Utilize insights to drive forecasting improvements and operating decisions.
- Support the enterprise-wide annual budget process by validating submissions, consolidating inputs, delivering an informed perspective on results, and providing key drivers for year-over-year changes.
- Assist with ad hoc requests as needed.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- 4+ years of related experience with budget planning, financial modeling, and decision analytics (FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity)
- Demonstrate proactive ownership of financial processes, taking initiative to identify and resolve discrepancies before they impact business operations
- Maintain attention to detail while managing multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong Excel skills with a thorough understanding of financial modeling, formula efficiency, pivot tables, and data management
- Comfortable working through complex datasets
- Understand general accounting and financial management
- Understand how business dynamics and product performance drive financial outcomes, integrating understanding into deliverables
- Experience in digital advertising and technology companies preferred
- Knowledge of programmatic (SSP/DSP), walled garden environments, and how digital media is transacted is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Tableau are a plus
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $68,000 - $129,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
