About the role
We are excited to offer two permanent Storeperson positions within our Incoming team at our Smithfield Distribution Centre. These positions are rostered for morning and afternoon starts, circa 7:54 AM to 4 PM, and 2:24 PM to 10:30 PM (depending on role), with a consistent Monday-to-Friday workweek. Join our dynamic team and play a vital role in our efficient operations! 
The primary role of the Storeperson is to undertake:

  • Container unloading and putaway of goods

  • Mark off of goods

  • General warehousing duties

  • Comply with ALL company policies, guidelines, directions & QA practices

  • Repetitive movements and some heavy lifting
     

About you, skills and experience
We are looking for someone with the right attitude and ability to be adaptable, think on your feet, communicate efficiently and work well within a team.
We are looking for Storepersons who have:

  • A good understanding of ERP-type processes.

  • Ability to work within a rapidly changing and diverse environment.

  • Manual handling experience with the ability to lift up to 20-30 kgs.

  • Forklift Licence (not required but is desirable).
