AMCS, a global provider of performance-driven sustainability software, has acquired Mandalay Technologies, an Australian company that specializes in developing modular, cloud-based weighbridge and data management solutions to support the waste and resource recovery sector.

The acquisition marks a significant step in AMCS’s growth strategy and brings its team in the region to over 360 members, according to a news release. This expanded presence enhances the company’s ability to serve municipal, commercial and residential waste management customers, bolstering their operational efficiency and environmental responsibility goals.

“Over one-third of Australia’s waste facilities rely on Mandalay Technologies’ cloud-based weighbridge and data management systems for their operations. Together, Mandalay and AMCS can provide our customers in Australia with enhanced operational visibility, optimized workflows, and leverage AI-driven analytics to improve efficiency, material quality and sustainability outcomes. This acquisition also expands our local team in Australia, enabling us to deliver faster, more tailored support to customers and help them operate smarter, greener and more profitably,” Jimmy Martin, CEO of AMCS, said in a statement.

Mandalay’s expertise further strengthens AMCS’s ability to support local governments with advanced data solutions tailored to waste and resource recovery. The combined offering provides public sector clients with tools to promote smarter resource use and drive sustainability initiatives.
