Giggy, a Sydney-based customer booking marketplace, is launching its technology platform across Sydney and Melbourne. The company’s network of over 2,500 independent service providers, including cleaners, pet caretakers, gardeners and mobile beauty therapists, use the platform to connect with customers and manage appointment bookings.

“We built Giggy to simplify how customers connect with local service providers,” Kiran Kumar, Giggy’s Director, said in a statement. “Our focus is on making discovery and booking clear and easy, while giving independent professionals a platform to grow their businesses.”

The company’s offerings include its appointment booking platform and companion app, GigMate, which lets service providers manage their bookings. GigMate is currently available through the Apple App Store and Google Play, ahead of the upcoming release of Giggy’s customer marketplace app.
