The Risk and Compliance Manager will provide independent risk and compliance advice across the Group, strengthen frameworks and policies, support risk assessments and regulatory reporting, and contribute to Board and executive reporting. The role partners with business leaders, delivers compliance training, promotes risk culture and accountability, and supports the maturity of the three lines of accountability model within a financial services environment.

Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas. Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations, develop Power BI dashboards and performance metrics, and deliver regular and ad hoc analysis supporting product planning and decisions. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, manage external data providers, improve data quality and reporting processes, and monitor industry, competitor, and market trends.

Develop and support AI-powered applications for financial advisers, clients, and internal teams. Build solutions using Python, LLMs, AI agents, machine learning, workflows, and data technologies. Participate in design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement while collaborating with engineers, data specialists, product teams, and business stakeholders.

Designs, implements, and coordinates security solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. The role improves security posture, embeds secure-by-design principles, supports security operations, contributes to policies and compliance activities, manages vulnerabilities and risks, and provides technical leadership and mentoring. It partners with architecture, engineering, development, operations, vendors, and stakeholders to advance HUB24’s cyber security roadmap in a regulated environment.

Supports regulatory change management across the HUB24 Group by monitoring legislation and guidance, assessing business impacts, maintaining regulatory registers and implementation trackers, coordinating milestones and evidence, preparing governance updates, and supporting reviews and transition to business-as-usual ownership. The role collaborates with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and business stakeholders within the Australian financial services regulatory environment.

Lead a small multidisciplinary team delivering practical AI, automation, workflow, and low-code solutions across the organisation. Partner with business stakeholders to identify productivity and risk-reduction opportunities, oversee solution design and implementation quality, manage technology vendors, and ensure secure, scalable, supportable outcomes in a regulated environment. The role combines people leadership, hands-on delivery, technical governance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

Designs, develops, tests, and maintains secure, scalable software applications supporting HUB24’s core platform and digital capabilities. Responsibilities include resolving technical issues, contributing to system design and planning, maintaining documentation, participating in Agile ceremonies, meeting delivery and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement. The role requires Microsoft .NET and web development experience, relational databases, CI/CD, automated testing, and collaborative problem-solving.

Own product reporting, tooling and communication to provide visibility across the product lifecycle. Align product, technology and business stakeholders, enable operational readiness for launches, optimise product toolstack and improve ways of working to scale the product organisation.

Process accurate and compliant Australian payroll, including employee lifecycle changes, payslips, tax, superannuation, leave, reconciliations, reporting, and payroll tax lodgements. Investigate discrepancies, resolve employee enquiries, maintain confidential payroll records, liaise with the Australian Taxation Office, and collaborate with People & Culture and Finance. This is a fixed-term contract through September 2027 with immediate start.

Support and analyse risk and compliance data, extract insights from risk systems (including Protecht), prepare Board/committee reports and dashboards, partner with stakeholders to validate information, assist monitoring and compliance reviews, and contribute to improvements in risk data quality, processes and the risk and compliance framework.

Embed security-by-design across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and APIs. Design and implement secure pipelines, automate security testing and monitoring, enforce IAM and API security, support compliance and audits, and advise engineering teams on security controls in a regulated financial environment.

Work with stakeholders to analyze and interpret data, build dashboards and reports, automate reporting using SQL and Python, and deliver actionable insights. Support data quality, governance and continuous improvement to enhance analytics capability across the business.

Support Line 2 AML & Fraud operations by performing CDD/ECDD/KYC reviews, investigating sanctions/PEP/adverse media and transaction alerts, preparing SMRs, conducting periodic KYC reviews, maintaining AML case records, producing risk reporting, and supporting quality assurance and process improvements.

Lead end-to-end delivery of HUB24's AML/CTF reform program: create and manage implementation roadmap, translate legislation into policies/processes, drive system and governance changes, coordinate business readiness and stakeholder engagement to ensure regulatory compliance.

Support Line 2 AML & Fraud operations through CDD/ECDD/KYC reviews, sanctions/PEP/adverse media investigations, transaction monitoring, SMR preparation, periodic KYC remediation, AML system recordkeeping, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration to strengthen AML/CTF controls.

Serve as first point of contact for clients and advisers via phone, email and live chat; manage client onboarding and welcome communications; resolve queries efficiently; support advisers and dealer groups with administration; draft clear client communications; take ownership of service tasks and drive continuous improvement.

Design, build, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud networking across AWS (with alignment to GCP and NSX). Develop reusable Terraform modules, drive best practices, collaborate with DevOps and security teams, provide technical leadership and mentorship, own operational support and incident escalation, and maintain architecture and process documentation.

Support the Data Products team to define and deliver data-driven products and an intelligence layer. Collaborate with engineering, data and commercial teams to shape roadmap, drive discovery, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement of scalable data solutions that create customer and business value.

Ensure Class software complies with Australian tax, superannuation and ATO requirements. Monitor legislative changes, manage compliance calendars, support product requirements and QA, resolve Level 2/3 client escalations, perform legal/tax research, deliver training, manage SuperStream processes, conduct data analysis and automation using SQL/APIs, and contribute to regulatory submissions and industry benchmarking.
