Drive rating assignments for securitisations, project finance and other structures; lead surveillance, draft internal committee memos and external reports, review legal documentation, assess originators and servicers, analyse performance trends, contribute to methodology and research, ensure regulatory and internal compliance, and engage with clients and stakeholders.

Research and critically assess Australian and global fund managers, conduct manager interviews, write rating notes and research reports, and provide fund recommendations to investment clients. The role also contributes to thought leadership, methodology development, stakeholder collaboration, client inquiries, and analytical projects. Strong expertise in investment management, fund due diligence, financial markets, quantitative analysis, and Australian equities or fixed income is required.

Leads Morningstar Australia’s practice optimisation proposition for financial advice businesses. Provides consulting on client value propositions, investment philosophies, pricing, growth, scalability, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions. Develops thought leadership, represents Morningstar at industry events, partners with behavioural insights teams, and creates a Train the Trainer program for the managed portfolio sales team. The role is Sydney-based, nationally focused, client-facing, and requires extensive domestic travel.

Lead a team of Data Consultants across Australia & New Zealand to onboard and manage complex managed-investment datasets, build and escalate relationships with asset managers and third-party providers, provide data expertise to product and commercial teams, monitor market/competitor trends, collaborate with global stakeholders, and develop team capabilities to improve data quality and operational productivity.
