About this role

Quantitative Master’s Internship Program
This program mirrors the MBA Internship but is tailored for master’s students in quantitative disciplines – giving you the same exposure and impact, with a focus on advanced analytics and problem-solving.
Eligibility: Students enrolled in analytics, computational finance, financial engineering, mathematics and/or a quantitative-disciplined master’s program and graduating between September 2027 and July 2028 with relevant pre-master’s work experience
BlackRock Global Markets and Index Investments (BGM) brings together BlackRock’s Index Investments, Markets, Liquidity & Financing, and Platform & Strategy businesses. Together, we provide clients with superior market access and index investment outcomes through:

We are a global team of 940+ with footprint in all our major offices in each region. Teams include the Index Investments teams as well as additional teams within BGM which provide quantitative models to support internal funds and develop analytical tools to support client and product teams.
This opportunity will give successful candidates a chance to be involved in shaping product strategy and design, navigate markets, and learn about the liquid investment ecosystem, as well as the day-to-day management disciplines of any successful business.

For San Francisco, CA and New York, NY only: The salary ranges for these positions are below. Please note, salary rates for a role are determined by department or team within a Business Area, as well as location of the role.

Salary Range (Semi-Monthly Rate)

Investment: $6,500 – $8,500

Our hybrid work model

Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
