Etcom are an award-winning, full-service multicultural communications agency that has been leading the industry for over 45 years, working on some of Australia’s biggest Commercial and Government clients.  

We’re on the hunt for an Account Executive who has a passion for Multicultural marketing. 

Joining our fully Integrated team within the wider Ogilvy family, you will be increasing awareness of the importance of multicultural marketing with existing and new clients. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Handle day-to-day administration of multiple client accounts, including internal and client WIPs, workflow control, meetings, minutes, estimates and records/approvals. 
  • Assist with the implementation of multicultural campaigns across media, events, PR and creative under the supervision of Etcom Account Directors or Managing Partners. This can include:
    • Work with multicultural communities and organisations as part of our community engagement activities
    • Take a hands-on role to assist with client activations at events and festivals  
    • Liaise with multicultural media partners, including dispatching media material 
  • Work with stakeholders to get things done on time, on budget and at the right quality.
  • Keep on top of the work in progress and internal timelines, recognising issues early and pre-empting them to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure client approvals and costings are obtained and all Finance requirements are adhered to ensure timely invoicing.
  • Create post-campaign reports, compiling information from key stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent customer service in all client interactions.

  • Ability to debate constructively with clients to defend successfully the agency’s recommendations or point of view.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to demonstrate confidence to negotiating costs with suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of Australia’s diverse cultural landscape and multicultural audiences.
