The Role: Account Executive (Sales)
We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive (Sales) to help expand our presence in the background screening market across North America. In this pivotal role, you will drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in ensuring a seamless customer experience and long-term satisfaction. If you're passionate about strategic selling, relationship building, and making a measurable impact, we invite you to join our innovative and fast-growing team. You will report directly to the Sales Director, North America.

What You’ll Be Doing (and Crushing):

  • Driving Revenue: Prospect, close new business, and grow existing accounts to consistently exceed sales targets.

  • Building Relationships: Engage HR decision-makers, understand client needs, and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Collaborating Across Teams: Work with product, data, customer success and marketing, to align strategy and ensure client success.

  • Owning the Sales Process: Deliver impactful demos, manage your pipeline, and maintain a disciplined, data-driven sales approach.

  • Leading with Insight: Analyze trends, share product feedback, and mentor teammates to help drive continuous improvement.

  • Measure Everything: Track KPIs like a hawk, optimize campaigns on the fly, and show off some seriously impressive ROI.

  • Build the Brand: Elevate Certn as the leader in the background screening space through smart campaigns, powerful content, and a bold presence across all channels.

  • Continuous Learning: Eagerness to become an expert in the background screening industry to position yourself as a trusted advisor to clients.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales executive role (B2B, Compliance of SaaS, HRTech, Fintech)

  • Experience in self-prospecting with the ability to generate and manage a strong sales pipeline

  • Proven success selling software solutions to senior decision-makers

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Growth mindset with a competitive edge and adaptability

  • Confidence in navigating ambiguity in a fast paced environment

  • Nice to have but not mandatory - ability to speak and write in French
