About Avoca

Avoca is transforming how home service companies engage with their customers. Our AI-powered conversational agents handle every high-value inbound call, from booking jobs, qualifying leads, and driving higher revenue, all at a speed and consistency unmatched by human call centers.

We're a Series B startup backed by Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, General Catalyst, and other top-tier investors, with $125M raised and a $1B valuation. We grew 10x in 2025 and have scaled to 170+ employees in under two years across our NYC headquarters and Santa Barbara office.

In a $1T+ market where 85% of missed calls go to competitors, we're building the category-defining platform for AI-driven customer engagement, serving the largest brands in home services. With high-energy, in-office teams in both locations, every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.

About the Role

As an Account Executive at Avoca, you'll own the full sales cycle, from first conversation to close, for high-value home services operators in Australia. You'll work directly with founders, owner-operators, and revenue leaders to understand their call flows, conversion challenges, and growth goals, and help them adopt Avoca as a mission-critical revenue engine.

You'll pioneer and build the market. This is a greenfield opportunity: you'll shape how Avoca sells in Australia from day one. It's ideal for someone who thrives in high-paced sales environments and is comfortable selling a technical product.

What You'll Do
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise home services customers across Australia.

  • Run discovery calls to deeply understand customer operations, call workflows, and revenue pain points.

  • Deliver tailored demos and solution pitches that map Avoca's AI to customer outcomes.

  • Build pipeline through outbound, inbound, and channel partners.

  • Manage pipeline, forecasts, and deal progression with high accuracy.

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to close complex deals.

  • Provide feedback from the field to help shape product roadmap and positioning.

  • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

What You'll Bring
  • 2-5+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS (AI, vertical SaaS, or operational software preferred).

  • Proven ability to run complex sales cycles and close high-ACV deals.

  • Strong discovery skills: you ask great questions and listen closely.

  • Comfort selling to operators, founders, owner-operators, and revenue leaders.

  • Clear, confident communicator who can explain technical concepts simply to varied stakeholders.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in fast-moving environments.

  • Excited to work with a high-ownership team across multiple time zones.

  • BONUS: Market/domain knowledge and/or an existing trades network.

Who You Are
  • Experience selling to home services, SMBs, or operations-heavy businesses.

  • Familiarity with call centers, customer support, or revenue operations.

  • Experience working in early-stage startups.

  • Thrive in ambiguity and create structure: you're energized by a blank page, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and build repeatable process where none exists.

  • Have a high motor: self-driven, relentless in pursuit of pipeline, and have a competitive mindset.

  • Are already embedding AI into your go-to-market in a systematic way, across prospecting, research, outreach, call prep and pipeline management, and can show the workflows you've built and the results they drive.

Benefits
  • Flexible PTO plus AU holidays

  • Company-wide off-sites

  • Travel to HQ

  • Competitive medical, dental, and health insurance

  • All core tools and software provided

Compensation: The expected on target earnings for this role is A$300,000–A$365,000, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications determined during the interview process. Avoca's total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a comprehensive suite of benefits and perks. Our Recruiting team will share the full details as you progress through our hiring process.
