Account Executive – AnZAt Backbase, we’re on a mission to help leading organizations transform the way they engage with their customers. As an Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in shaping our growth journey by building strong relationships and delivering value to clients across your territory. What You’ll DoAs an Account Executive, you’ll own your sales territory, drive strategic conversations, and close meaningful deals (including opportunities of $1M+). Your day-to-day will include:
- Owning your sales quota and building a plan to exceed it through thoughtful, data-backed territory planning.
- Identifying, qualifying, and progressing new business opportunities across the region.
- Leading full-cycle sales engagements — from first outreach through deep dives, RFPs, pitches, and POCs — with support from pre-sales and demand generation teams.
- Working closely with internal teams to craft compelling value propositions tailored to client needs.
- Engaging with decision-makers and stakeholders, negotiating terms, and closing strategic, long-term deals.
- Managing your pipeline with discipline and transparency, using CRM and data to drive decisions.
We believe great Account Executives come from diverse backgrounds. You’re likely to thrive in this role if you bring:
- 5–8 years of experience in a hunter sales role, ideally within enterprise B2B software/SaaS or technology consulting.
- A track record of successfully managing a complex sales cycle and closing high-value deals.
- Experience selling into C-level stakeholders and navigating cross-functional buying groups.
- Strong communication and presentation skills — both written and spoken — in English and any regional/local languages.
- A growth mindset, curiosity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- A Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
