What You’ll Do:
As an Agency Account Executive, you will:
- Drive Revenue Growth: Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation, closing, and a successful handoff to Customer Success, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Pipeline Management and Conversion: Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline, meticulously tracking opportunities and demonstrating a consistent ability to advance deals through all stages.
- Showcase Value: Articulate and sell IAS’s full suite of measurement, optimisation, ROI solutions to agencies and effectively differentiate IAS from competitors.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate strong, trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders across agencies.
- Achieve Targets: Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals as a key member of the region’s top-performing sales team.
- Collaborate to Succeed: Work hand-in-hand with Customer Success to develop tailored growth strategies for key business portfolios and actively engage with the broader Sydney team, participating in team events, knowledge sharing, and fostering a collaborative and supportive internal environment.
- Be Accountable: Rigorously adhere to all internal operational procedures, including timely updates in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), consistent meeting attendance, and proactive contribution to shared planning documents
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain consistent and proactive communication, ensuring availability and responsiveness to internal teams and clients during core business hours (e.g., via Slack, email, and phone).
What We’re Looking For:

- Negotiation & Objection Handling: Proven ability to effectively negotiate complex deals, overcome objections, and navigate procurement processes to secure agreements.
- Exceptional Communication & Responsiveness: A demonstrated ability to communicate proactively, professionally, and respond promptly to all internal and external queries, maintaining high availability during work hours.
- Energetic Approach: You bring energy, positivity, and a can-do attitude to everything you do.
- Proven Success: A track record of smashing sales quotas and developing strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
- Industry Expertise: 3-5+ years of full-cycle sales experience in an Account Executive or similar role, with a demonstrable and consistent track record of personally closing significant new business deals and exceeding challenging sales quotas.
- Sales Skills: Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to understand client business needs, position solutions effectively, and craft compelling proposals that lead to successful closure.
- Accountability: Delivering accurate and consistent sales forecasting using tools like Salesforce and a high degree of personal accountability for daily activities, communication, and adherence to company policies and processes.
- Team Spirit: Genuine 'Team Player' mentality: actively participates in team initiatives, builds strong internal relationships, and contributes positively to our collaborative and high-energy sales culture.
