About Finchly

Finchly is a member of the LEAP group of companies - the leading provider of Legal Practice Management Solutions in the world. Over a 30-year period we've expanded across Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Poland and New Zealand and support more than 71,000 lawyers and their staff in small and medium sized law firms. We owe our success to our curiosity and commitment to our guiding purpose, to ‘Help lawyers who help people’.

Finchly is one of Australia’s fastest-growing legal referral and recommendation platforms. Our mission is simple: create the most trusted way to get legal help. We’re scaling fast, already working with 4,000+ lawyers across Australia, with enquiry volume growing month on month. We win in the market through quality of matches - firms only see enquiries relevant to their practice, while clients get confidence they’re connected to the right legal help.

What you'll do

This is a full-cycle sales role: you’ll own the outreach, the meetings, and the close. It’s ideal for someone who’s ambitious, competitive, and ready to make the jump into a true BDM position. You’ll manage a territory of ~500 law firms, using multi-channel outbound (phone, LinkedIn, email, Zoom) combined with warm partner referrals and inbound leads. You’ll also own the upsells and ascensions within your accounts, giving you full responsibility for your book of business.

To make this happen, you will:

  • Run a high-activity, multi-channel sales motion to sign new firms.
  • Hit and exceed monthly sign targets (15 minimum, 20–25 expected).
  • Build strong relationships with your firms and drive upsells/ascensions.
  • Represent Finchly at industry events and through partner activations.
  • Report accurately on activity and pipeline; contribute feedback to help shape our sales playbook.

What you'll bring

  • 1–3+ years in sales (SDR, BDR, AE, recruiter, or similar) with strong outbound experience
  • Comfortable running multi-channel outreach: phone, LinkedIn, email, Zoom
  • Proficiency with AI and productivity tools is a strong advantage

You are the type of person who

  • Is coachable, competitive, and resilient, thrives in a target-driven environment
  • Is a strong communicator who builds trust quickly with decision makers
  • Builds trust. You’re a natural people person and can quickly build close relationships with new contacts.

Finchly is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential. If you meet some, but not all the requirements above, we encourage you to still submit your application.

Why join Finchly?

  • Early scale-up phase: Be part of the foundation team as we grow - great for those looking to pave a career in sales or sales leadership. Report directly to the Head of Sales for hands-on coaching and visibility.
  • Global backing & stability: Finchly sits within LEAP/ATI Global, a well-funded, global LegalTech group supporting 100,000+ legal professionals - the resources, reach, and career mobility of a big business, with the ownership and autonomy of a small one.
  • Make real impact: You won’t just be a cog in the wheel, meaningful work, full trust, autonomy, and the chance to work on big, visible projects.
  • Flexible, hybrid work: Sydney-based hybrid with flexibility to work how you perform best.
  • Career growth: Backed by a group with a 30-year track record in building category-leading LegalTech, opportunities to pivot and progress across teams and geographies.
  • Perks & wellbeing: Enjoy catered breakfast and lunch, an on-site barista, free gym membership, corporate dental plan, monthly in-office massages, and an additional paid wellbeing day each year. Socials, sports teams, and even sailing/yacht events are part of the culture.
  • LEAP Home: Access to LEAP Home, a unique program that supports employees in purchasing their primary residence.
  • Our space: A beautiful Sydney office environment (with a brand-new space opening in November) and a friendly free-barista setup, plus hybrid patterns of 3/2 or 4/1 to suit your rhythm.
