At AKQA (part of WPP) our Client Service team makes sure our work is well-planned, creative, and delivered to the highest standard. As an Account Executive, you’ll support key accounts, help shape the client experience, and ensure projects run smoothly. You’ll bring structure to client engagement, balancing relationship building with practical project management, while gaining experience across strategy, creative, and production teams.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Account Managers, Account Directors, and internal teams to keep projects on track, on time, and high quality. You’ll focus on clear communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail, becoming a reliable partner for both clients and colleagues.

At AKQA, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team driven by curiosity, craft, and purpose. Our hybrid studio/work-from-home model supports collaboration, flexibility, and balance, helping our teams do their best work.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Prepare client meetings, presentations, and workshops.
  • Create client status reports, meeting notes, and documentation.
  • Research client industries, competitors, and trends.
  • Build relationships with client contacts under guidance from senior team members.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets for assigned tasks.
  • Facilitate communication between client service and internal teams (Strategy, Creative, Production, Technology).
  • Review deliverables against briefs and standards to ensure quality before submission.
  • Support financial processes, including tracking expenses, invoicing, and monitoring profitability.
  • Share industry insights, trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Contribute to brainstorms, propose solutions, and streamline team processes.

 

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • Up to 2 years’ client-facing experience in a creative, digital, or advertising agency.
  • Strong communicator, organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Jira, Asana, or Monday.com is beneficial.
  • Analytical, eager to learn, and curious about clients, markets, and project performance.
  • Passionate about digital marketing, technology, and creative innovation.
