If you are a sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships while driving disciplined sales execution, Copeland has an opportunity for you. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local and regional channel partners (Distributors & Rep Firms) within assigned territory (End User focused). You will manage customer relationships, identify and progress opportunities, and apply consultative selling skills to deliver value-based solutions within your assigned territory or market. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build and sustain trusted customer relationships by identifying customer needs and delivering value-based solutions. 

  • Manage opportunities and pipeline with discipline, including qualification, progression, forecasting, and follow-through to achieve revenue targets. 

  • Apply consultative selling techniques to align customer requirements with Copeland products and solutions. 

  • Build credibility with customers by sharing technical, product, and market knowledge throughout the sales process. 

  • Communicate clearly and persuasively through customer discussions, proposals, and presentations. 

  • Use CRM and sales tools consistently to maintain accurate account, pipeline, and forecast information. 

Required Experience & Skills 

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in B2B or technical sales roles, specifically in the HVAC/R industry

  • Consultative selling and opportunity management skills. 

  • Ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions. 

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. 

  • Disciplined use of CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecasts, and account activity. 

  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment (Australia) – sponsorship will not be provided. 

Preferred Experience & Skills 

  • Experience selling technical, engineered, or solutions-based offerings. 

  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders within customer organizations. 

  • Technical background in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related systems-focused discipline.
