About the role

The Account Manager - Aged Care is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of new Aged Care provider partners and Self-Managed HCP provider partners. Reporting to the Relationship Manager - Aged Care, this role is focused on onboarding, engaging, and driving performance across provider partners using Mable’s Business Solutions offering.

The Account Manager will lead strategic conversations with provider contacts, understand service delivery goals, and ensure their associated coordinators are fully supported by the Coordinator & Organisation Specialist (COS) team. You will serve as the bridge between frontline coordinators and senior provider decision-makers, surfacing insights and identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships.

This role plays a vital part in Mable’s mission to deliver high-quality, client-centric outcomes in the aged care ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a warm portfolio of Aged Care and Self-Managed HCP provider partners, owning the full partnership lifecycle and championing long-term growth and impact.
  • Drive meaningful engagement through regular check-ins and strategic reviews, aligning on performance goals, evolving needs, and future plans.
  • Monitor key portfolio metrics such as client growth, conversion rates, referral activity, and account performance - translating insights into action.
  • Proactively identify and escalate high-impact growth levers, risks, and blockers to senior stakeholders, helping shape strategic direction.
  • Collaborate daily with the Coordinator & Organisation Specialist (COS) team to ensure seamless delivery - solving issues on the spot and amplifying what’s working.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, sector changes, and funding structures (including MAC), tailoring your approach to each partner’s unique context.
  • Build a deep understanding of partner goals and service models to unlock strategic opportunities and support long-term success.
  • Share frontline insights with Marketing, Product, and Data teams to help evolve Mable’s offerings and better serve the sector.
  • Support planning and projects led by the Relationship Manager and B2B leadership, contributing ideas and executional support.
  • Represent the brand with professionalism and credibility in external meetings, partner forums, and industry conversations.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrated success in account management, B2B customer success, or client-facing partnership roles, ideally in fast-paced or high-impact environments.
  • Skilled at managing multiple accounts and relationships simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to strategically prioritise.
  • Confident interpreting data and metrics to assess account health, uncover insights, and take targeted, effective action.
  • Proven collaborator with a track record of working cross-functionally across delivery, operations, and marketing teams to drive shared outcomes.
  • Excellent communicator - both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong rapport, influence stakeholders, and present ideas clearly.
  • Organised and self-motivated, capable of managing a dynamic and diverse portfolio while staying focused on outcomes.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex challenges with others.
  • Experience in the Aged Care sector or with technology-driven service models is a plus, but not essential
