The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our APAC SMB division called "ezyCollect by Sidetrade" Sales team and focus on our SMB customers. As an Account Manager, you will own the commercial growth of existing clients globally. Your focus is on identifying expansion opportunities, becoming a trusted advisor to your accounts, and managing the full upsell lifecycle — from discovery through to close.

You will work closely with Customer Success, GTM/Marketing, Product and Engineering to ensure we are solving real client problems, driving adoption, and expanding value across our customer base.


Requirements

What you'll be doing:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of existing ezyCollect customers globally
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across products, modules, usage and regions
  • Run a full consultative upsell cycle: discovery, solutioning, commercials, negotiation and close
  • Manage pricing discussions, contract variations and renewals in collaboration with the CRO
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (CFOs, Financial Controllers, AR leaders, Operations)
  • Understand each client’s current workflows, pain points and maturity
  • Position ezyCollect as a strategic advisor, clearly articulating ROI and business impact
  • Support clients through change as their business scales or evolve
  • Partner closely with the Customer Success team to identify the right opportunities with the right clients
  • Work with GTM & Marketing to run targeted campaigns that generate CSQLs. This may include self-run webinars, promotions, client events and account-based initiatives
  • Act as the voice of the customer, providing structured feedback to Product and Engineering
  • Maintain accurate notes, opportunities, forecasts and activity in the CRM
  • Track pipeline health, expansion targets and campaign performance
  • Ensure all commercial and administrative tasks are completed to a high standard

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years in an Account Manager, Account Executive (expansion-focused), or similar consultative sales role
  • Experience working with existing customers, managing renewals, upsells or expansions with proven experience of hitting consistent targets/quote
  • Background in SaaS, Fintech, Payments, ERP or Accounting-related technology
  • Strong commercial acumen with confidence managing pricing and negotiations
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) and modern sales productivity tools
  • Ability to work across multiple internal teams and stakeholders

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with mid-market or enterprise finance teams
  • Comfortable running webinars, campaigns or account-based initiatives
  • Data-driven, curious and commercially minded
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skill
  • Highly organised with excellent follow-through
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment
