Main Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement strategies in conjunction with the Business Unit Manager to achieve the agreed targets and objectives.

  • Establish strong relationships with directly assigned customers and ensure a high level of technical support so to maximise the sales and profitability to Azelis.  

  • Seek new opportunities within the assigned customer base so to expand volumes and portfolio of products sold.

  • Oversee an efficient stockholding and ensure a high level of service to customers whilst avoiding excess or stock and warehousing.

  • Maintain relationships with all principals within the areas of responsibility and under the guidance of the Business Unit Manager, work to achieve their sales and promotional objectives within the market.

  • To utilise the CRM system as part of the daily work process and ensure that all relevant customer, lead and opportunity-related information is captured.

  • Identify new business opportunities in the form of new markets, customer, products and principals.

  • To ensure the Azelis Anti-Bribery & Fraud Prevention policy and Code of Conduct are up-held and the company is represented both professionally and ethically in all dealings both internal and external.

  • Follow the Responsible Care programme adopted by Azelis to achieve continuous improvement in the areas of safety, health and environmental management.

  • Other responsibilities as agreed.

Qualification & Skills

  • 5 years industry experience preferably within the home & personal care industry; Technical background (bachelors degree of Science) - Desirable

  • Self-motivated to start up new initiatives to generate more sales;

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills;

  • Creative to develop new means to generate interest and fill the sales pipeline;

  • The ability to adapt to new requirements and have a flexible approach;

  • Highly organized and able to meet principal expectations

  • Confident in interacting at all levels within the business – from R&D to commercial and senior management;

  • The drive to challenge yourself personally and develop new skills;

  • The ability to think commercially and deliver results;
