Skillsoft Global Knowledge is seeking an Account Executive, SMB.  In this role, you will drive top-line revenue by expanding existing customer relationships and winning new logos across the SMB segment. You’ll sell Skillsoft Global Knowledge’s industry-leading Technology & Developer (T&D) solutions, partnering closely with prospects to solve real workforce and capability challenges.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, international SMB sales team and will own your territory end-to-end—from prospecting through close.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
  • Sell Skillsoft Global Knowledge’s T&D solutions directly to SMB prospects
  • Own and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and close
  • Build and execute strategic territory plans to maximize pipeline and revenue
  • Clearly articulate Skillsoft’s competitive differentiation and value proposition
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure a strong customer experience and successful outcomes

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in IT, SaaS, or technology-enabled services.  College degree or equivalent in education/experience 
  • Proven success selling in a new business / hunter capacity  with experience selling directly into IT Departments.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and how to advance deals at each stage
  • Ability to prospect, manage, and grow a defined territory
  • Strong negotiation skills, focused on value and time-to-close
  • Adaptable and customer-centric
  • Familiarity with learning, human capital, or human capital technology solutions (preferred)

Target base range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $45,000 - $55,000 with average on target earnings including commissions of approximately $90,000 - $110,000 annually. 

 We also offer Enterprise benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.

 The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
