We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

As an Account Manager, Large Enterprise Commercial, you will build and manage trusted relationships with PayPal’s largest and most strategic clients. You will develop a deep understanding of their business objectives and challenges, using your expertise to provide valuable guidance, identify growth opportunities and recommend tailored payment solutions.
You will help clients navigate the evolving payments landscape by translating complex insights into practical commercial outcomes. Working closely with internal Product, Sales, Marketing, Risk, Legal, Finance and Operations teams, you will lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure an exceptional client experience.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recommend best practices for business improvement.
  • Lead functional projects and programs.
  • Analyze business trends to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements.
  • Monitor and report on account health and performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise merchants.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex merchant or enterprise relationships.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and functions.
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Commercially minded, customer-focused and results oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator who can tailor messages to different audiences and build trust quickly.
  • Experience working in payments, financial services or technology is advantageous but not required.
