About the role:

We are seeking an inspirational Account Manager who is accomplished and can forge strong business relationships with key stakeholders to help drive our Trade division’s success. This role is largely based in and around Orange, with some Travel to Cowra and Forbes.

With an established client base of Residential & Commercial Builders, this role offers excellent foundations and growth potential for any sales driven Account Manager.   

Reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager, you are a knowledgeable and experienced sales professional who can confidently engage in supporting and converting new business opportunities ensuring that our Trade customers receive the most appropriate, value-added solutions that suit their business needs.

In this role, you will drive and execute the strategic sales plans of Bunnings Trade through use of your expertise and knowledge in our large range of products and services. You will work collaboratively with other members of the Bunnings team ensuring that our customers are provided with the very best Price, Range and Service.

What's involved:

  • Develop and implement strategies to manage and exceed KPI’s and Gross Profit budgeted sales across our channel (Retail, Trade Centres, Frame & Truss, Supply & Install, Beaumont Tiles)
  • Selling product and/or solutions targeting the customers “whole of build”
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally to grow our market share and identify opportunities for new business
  • Develop and execute strategies to address local opportunities and combat competitor activities
  • Develop, implement and manage a budget that is aligned to company expectations
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Bunnings network to ensure our Trade customers are provided with the very best Price, Range and Service
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety

You'll need:

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence
  • Strong Stakeholder engagement with a customer focus and an ability to build rapport
  • Strategic, a forward planner and results driven
