The role is based in Sydney NSW, Australia (hybrid role). The role is responsible for driving sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying the customer needs & opportunities, establishing solid customer relationships, leading, coordinating and reporting IFF activities and promoting relevant solutions aligned with the corporate strategy. Where You’ll Make a Difference

  • Build and nurture relationships with the customer to drive sales revenue and profit.
  • Design, share, and execute customer sales development strategies, sales estimates, and budget plans for designated accounts, ensuring alignment with the business priorities.
  • Defend and expand IFF’s business with key customers by ensuring consistent satisfaction, long‑term retention, and ongoing identification of growth opportunities.
  • Optimize pipeline project performance in support of customer brand plans and sustainable growth, ensuring delivery against growth goals and addressing any emerging issues.
  • Partner with key internal functions (Perfumery, Technical, Marketing, Regulatory, and Operations) to ensure seamless delivery against customer expectations and uphold IFF’s commitments.
  • Build and nurture close collaboration with the Scent team to maintain alignment and provide customers with a seamless, unified experience.
  • Actively build your professional development to stay informed on industry shifts, IFF innovations, and effective account‑management skills.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Approximately 4-8 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing preferably fragrance, chemical or ingredients industries.
  • Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to build customer development plans that directly support business objectives and deliver measurable sales growth.
  • Strong insight into customer profiles and market competition, allowing for precise and strategic positioning of business solutions.
  • Robust understanding of customer priorities, initiatives, and go‑to‑market processes, enabling precise solution design that meets customer expectations and reinforces business value.
