The Role
Working in a fast-paced, start-up environment, the Account Manager role will be empowered to prospect, forecast, plan, and sell the Apploi platform to organizations within the healthcare industry. Reporting to the CEO, this role will help us deepen our relationships and reach within our customer-base.
As an Account Manager, you will have the exciting role of managing our customer base, providing high-value customer care, maximizing revenue through the sale of additional products, and executing renewals. You will be a critical team member in the continuing dramatic growth of Apploi.
Who You Are
  • Extremely organized, able to manage the high volume of customer inquiries while also efficiently prioritizing efforts around achieving assigned targets.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Strong sales acumen and consultative skills to conduct thorough discovery calls and translate into qualified opportunities that result in a high closure rate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to varying situations and personalities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive team member who will utilize time efficiently, share knowledge, and be receptive to others' ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience as an account manager in SaaS or Healthcare, managing renewals and upselling/cross-selling to existing customer base.
  • Self-starter, results-driven, highly motivated, high energy, with a proven track record.

What You'll Do
  • Manage customer renewals, upsells, and cross-sells with an emphasis on maximizing revenues based on expected goals.
  • Serve as primary relationship manager post-sale.
  • Prepare and present product demonstrations.
  • Understand Apploi solution offerings and services offerings, be able to articulate their features and benefits using value-based selling methodology, and provide appropriate solutions based on customer needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of current products and pricing appropriate to closing sales.
  • Monitor account health metrics and proactively address risks to retention or satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to understand client goals, data needs, workflows, and integrations.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, participate or take lead in QBRs and training sessions to ensure product adoption.
  • Target key decision-makers to determine buying readiness and timelines.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and feedback utilizing Salesforce
  • Attend trade shows, events, and conferences.
  • Visit customers on site, as needed.
