We’re a fast-growing 3PL transforming how brands ship to customers around the world. We help merchants accomplish faster sales, better cash flow, and more inventory agility.

As an Account Manager (Customer Success) for APAC, you’ll be the face and voice of Portless for some of our highest-potential brands. You’re not just “managing tickets”—you’re a strategic partner, a trusted advisor, and the person the merchant consults when something big is happening in their business.

What you’ll be doing 

You’ll own a portfolio of fast-growing e-commerce brands and be responsible for their success with Portless:

Consultative Account Management

  • Build deep, long-term relationships with founders, ops leads, and senior stakeholders.
  • Understand each merchant’s goals, challenges, and growth plans—and tie Portless solutions directly to their strategy.

Internal Partnerships

  • Work closely with Sales on expansion, with Operations on execution, and with Product/Engineering to influence roadmap through customer feedback.
  • Be the internal advocate for your merchants. Ensure that the plans we’re building start and end with the success of our customers in mind.

Execute Retention & Expansion Motions

  • Clearly articulate and quantify ROI: faster delivery, cost savings, better customer experience.
  • Identify and execute upsell/cross-sell opportunities that genuinely make sense for the merchant.
What we’re looking for

Experience & skills

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Degree from an accredited university.
  • Based in Australia (strongly preferred) or the broader APAC time zone
  • 3+ years in Customer Success or Account Management, ideally in E-commerce, and/or
    Cross-border / global logistics, shipping, or fulfillment
  • Proven success in managing and growing strategic accounts, building and executing account plans, and running renewals with strong retention and expansion outcomes.
  • Comfortable with risk and de-escalation management; you can handle tough conversations while keeping relationships strong.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—you can talk to founders, ops leads, and execs with equal ease.
  • Analytical and structured: you’re comfortable with dashboards, spreadsheets, and turning messy data into clear actions.
