About the Role (your why)

The Account Relationship Manager role is responsible for maximising revenue of our Payroll Bureau Accounts in order to achieve customer satisfaction, agreed revenue targets and deliverables.. The Account Relationship Manager is required to ensure complete customer satisfaction when dealing with their allocated accounts, and that the account is achieving maximum satisfaction and productivity from their systems.

What you’ll do

· Formulating, implementing, and managing strategic business plans regarding a small number of client accounts to achieve customer satisfaction and promote the use of our payroll product, Datapay.

· Being responsible for Facilitating growth and penetration of the customer’s contract.

· Leading the program process and coordinating cross-business resources to ensure achievement of goals, schedules, and quality commitments.

· Managing negotiations between the organisation, the client and any third-party organisations involved.

· Collaborating with sales and support groups to demonstrate value of support offering to client and identify opportunities for expanded support business.

· Acting as the main interface between the client and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is always provided and continually seeking the opportunity to participate in clients' strategic business planning processes.

· Liaising between customer and product support and development staff.

· Creating a client environment that is conducive to sales efforts.

· Coordinating resources to meet client objectives.

· Monitoring client support activities (ensuring client problems and queries are being dealt with in an effective manner).

· Being continually aware of new products and releases through regular updates with the Product Managers, and of potential areas for product, services and education sales.

· Working closely with clients to determine their present and future needs and proposing suitable products, services, and upgrades to maintain and grow revenue for the organisation.

· Advising the customer on information and business technology strategy with the goal of enhancing the overall success of the customer’s business enterprise.

What you’ll bring

· Expert Datapay product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.

· Specialist knowledge of Datapay and Australian payroll legislation.

· Knowledge of Account Management techniques and disciplines.

· 5+ years’ Datapay payroll experience, ideally with a payroll bureau using Datapay. .

· Demonstrated experience in managing people and teams.

· Communication and analytical ability essential together with strong customer service skills.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, and excellent communication skills.

· Strong ability to motivate and manage direct and indirect teams of employees across multiple functions.
