Role in brief
The accountant role is a hybrid mix of general ledger, treasury, commercial elements and has below key areas of focus:
Ownership of month end closing, net financial position and customer rebates.
Adhere to Prysmian Group reporting timetable and provide all required financial data by its due date.
Reporting the business performance on regular basis to support the commercial department and management team.
Responsible for certain compliance activities (like GST, FBT etc) as well as fully support on both Internal and External audit activities.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury:
Monitor and maintain hedge covers in SAP on daily basis.
Cash Forecasting and maintenance of the same in SAP.
Bank & Treasury accounts reconciliation.
Manage Bank Guarantees and Letter of Credits.
Perform AP payments in SAP treasury platform on weekly basis.
Payments of GST & FBT etc in the bank.
BG/Bond report and Reconciliation.
General Ledger:
Fixed Asset Management – Manage Additions, disposals, depreciation posting and Capex reporting.
Raise Interco recharge invoice in SAP.
Manage Interco balance reporting in Hyperion on monthly basis.
Customer rebate reconciliation.
Manage internal & external audit queries in relation to cash or fixed assets.
Commercial:
Publish internal business performance reports and customer sales reports.
Assist to maintain pricing in SAP
Assist to lodge ABS Surveys
Process customer rebate payments in SAP
Other adhoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
SAP modules FI, CO, MM (Mandatory)
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Self Starter, able to work independently and as apart of a team
Demonstrated ability to build rapport with internal & external stakeholders
Qualifications, licenses, certifications:
Bachelor of Commerce or business degree
HSE Compliance:
Use all provided personal protective clothing and equipment (PPE) in accordance with company directions.
Participate in training to support the implementation of the WHS Policy and ensure compliance with the appropriate legislation.
Cooperate in any return to work plan developed for injured staff.
Assist Prysmian Group with its WHS obligations by reporting and recording all incidents and hazards that may cause injury to self and others
