About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable (AP);
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) accurately and on time;
- Perform month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting;
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner;
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts;
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management;
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations;
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies;
- Support annual audit, company tax return and FBT processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations;
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and systems;
- Other Ad Hoc Duties as and when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Oracle)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (Mandarin/Cantonese a plus)
