We are looking for an Accounts Assistant Apprentice to join the team in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an apprenticeship qualification whilst gaining real life experience of working within a Finance environment.
It is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for a role within Finance. The main duties/key responsibilities of this role are;
To help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Supporting with the management of the fixed asset register and all related journal entries
Maintenance of general ledger including monthly journal entries and accruals prepayments. Verifying account balances match to individual transactions.
Supporting the Finance management team with month end reporting and requirements
Providing information to internal and external auditors as and when required
Payroll Reconciliations - ensuring payroll records match with financial records
Working with other departments to ensure financial accuracy
The successful candidate will have (or predicted) GCSE qualifications in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above).

You will work towards completing the Level 2/Level 3 Finance/Accounts Assistant apprenticeship with the opportunity to gain a permanent role.
