The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
We’re looking for a proactive Accounts Receivable Analyst to work with our customers across healthcare, dental and OEM sectors to ensure timely payment of invoices to Solventum. The successful candidate will not only focus on traditional collection activity, but also drive partnerships with customers that involve complex account reconciliation and understanding of their payment behaviours or systems.

- Total Ownership: You will have responsibility to understand the entire billing process for your assigned accounts, from invoicing, credits, rebates, payments and cash application.
- Impact at Scale: You will be responsible for around 500 direct customer accounts with a high commercial value and level of complexity
- Strategic Partnerships: Our customers are our partners; they deliver critical care to Australians and New Zealanders. Solventum strives to deliver an excellent commercial experience to support delivery of that care, including a collaborative approach to billing reconciliation.
- Strategic Analysis: You will independently review detailed AR data across various reporting platforms in order to independently strategise the most effective collection approach to meet KPIs.
- Make A Difference: In this role you will also participate in continuous improvement and troubleshooting initiatives that help Solventum keep improving both in customer satisfaction, process and cash related KPIs
- Reports to ANZ Accounts Receivable Leader (also based in Sydney)
🧠 What You Bring
- Proven Skillset in Accounts Receivable: You have strong experience with account reconciliation. You understand the billing process including collection strategies, dispute resolution, credit management, payment terms and cash application.
- Customer Obsession: You solve problems before they escalate and with open curiosity, delivering a frictionless experience across the customer journey.
- Process Excellence: You see inefficiencies as opportunities and have a track record of improving process and operations within previous teams
- Strategic Communication: You’re a confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams with credibility.
- Data Excellence: Your Excel and/or Power BI (user) skills are moderate to advanced. V-lookups, Pivots and data manipulation comes naturally to you in your daily analysis. (there will be a test exercise as part of interview process).
- Technical Agility: Experience with multiple ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and tools like Salesforce? Even better. You learn systems quickly.
- Market Knowledge: Ideally, you will understand healthcare, dental or pharmaceutical markets with experience based here in Australia or New Zealand
🎯 Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, Customer Service, Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain.
- Track record of leading and developing high-performance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Excel, Power BI, Accounting, Business, Six Sigma, Agile or Project Management certifications are a plus.
