We have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Shared Services team, based at our Sydney (Eveleigh) office. Reporting to the Head of Finance Shared Services, you'll play an important role in keeping our accounts receivable ledger accurate and up to date, supporting healthy cash flow, and building strong relationships across Finance, Sales and our customers.

How will you make an impact?
  • Ledger management: Process invoicing, collections and cash application across the accounts receivable ledger, keeping records accurate and up to date
  • Debtor follow-up: Monitor aged debtors and proactively follow up on overdue accounts, escalating high-risk or disputed items as needed
  • Reconciliations: Support month-end reconciliations of accounts receivable sub-ledgers to the general ledger, helping to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Reporting: Help prepare debtor ageing reports and other accounts receivable metrics that support management reporting
  • Query resolution: Work with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve billing queries and disputes in a professional and timely manner
The superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team:
  • Relevant experience: Experience in an accounts receivable, credit control, or broader finance role
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders that elevates the team and our service offering to our customers.
  • Systems know-how: Working knowledge of ERP and accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and confidence using Excel
  • Attention to detail: High accuracy and strong numerical skills, even under time pressure
  • Communicator: Clear and professional communication skills, including confidence managing sensitive conversations with customers
  • Organised: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
  • Problem solver: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies and disputes

Remember – you might not tick all the boxes, but don’t let that from stopping you applying. We’re more interested in how you work, your ability to solve problems and think big.

What could your Quantium Experience look like?

Working at Quantium will allow you to challenge your imagination. You will get to solve complex problems using rigor, precision and by asking great questions – but it also means you can think big, outside the box and push your problem-solving skills to the max.
