Responsibilities
As a Technical and Aircrew Publications Specialist, you will:
- Be responsible for the development of multiple publication elements, ensuring work is delivered with accuracy, consistency, and first-time quality.
- Create and release specialised Technical and Aircrew Publications and program-related artefacts in line with required standards and schedules.
- Actively assist in the development of management plans and work instructions to support compliance, quality, and achievement of scheduled deliverables.
- Liaise with Defence customers and key stakeholders to understand priorities, system safety concerns, and publication schedules, while building strong and effective working relationships.
- Conduct quality and in-process reviews and validate technical and aircrew publications to ensure adherence to processes and requirements.
- Manage competing priorities effectively, remaining composed under pressure and meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Experience/Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience within an aviation environment.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, and prioritise activities to achieve defined objectives while maintaining adherence to policy and procedure.
- Strong accountability and ownership in delivering outcomes that positively impact team and program performance.
- Proven capability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to engage, inform, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
