About the role:

Are you an organised, proactive administrator who enjoys being the friendly face of the office? RSM Sydney is looking for a professional and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to support our team while being based at Reception. You’ll work alongside our dedicated Receptionist to keep our office running smoothly and deliver an exceptional client experience.

This role offers variety, ownership of day‑to‑day office management tasks, and the opportunity to build strong relationships across the Sydney office. You will provide high-quality administrative support while assisting with front‑of‑house operations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Assist the main Receptionist with front‑of‑house duties, including greeting clients and visitors

  • Prepare and organise tea, coffee, and catering for client meetings

  • Answer incoming calls, direct enquiries, and monitor voicemail messages

  • Ensure meeting rooms are set up and coordinate meeting arrangements, including scheduling and managing room bookings

  • Sort, record and distribute incoming and outgoing mail

  • Receive incoming deliveries and coordinate outgoing courier items

  • Assist with general office and kitchen maintenance to ensure a clean and welcoming workspace

  • Manage and maintain office supplies, including weekly restocking

  • Provide general administrative support including scanning, filing, and maintaining registers

About you:

You are a professional, customer-focused administrator with a strong eye for detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively to support seamless office operations.

Education Requirements

Essential

  • Completion of Year 12

Experience & Attributes

Essential

  • 6–12 months experience in a similar administrative or office support role (preferred)

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
