About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated individual with a proactive mindset and a genuine willingness to join and support our busy Commercial Service Centre team.
Some prior administrative experience would be an advantage however not essential. This opportunity is well suited to early-career professionals, recent graduates, or individuals looking to transition into the insurance industry.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to add an enormous amount of value to the day-to-day, efficient running of the team and will gain satisfaction from seeing your hard work make a difference.
We are looking for someone with a positive, flexible approach, and in return, we offer mentoring and coaching to support your professional development and growth within the loss adjusting space.
Please note that we are open to candidates based in Sydney or Melbourne.
About You
- Strong customer service skills coupled with good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail as well as being process driven
- Knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs
- Numeracy skills and the ability to handle confidential information
- Be a people person and have the ability to demonstrate a caring, empathetic and positive outlook. In addition, you will be thorough, analytical and be able to make rational decisions in a fast-paced environment and be happy to always go the extra mile.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient and accurate data entry
- Monitor and manage dedicated mail inbox
- Respond to client & Insured queries via telephone and email
- Update Claims Management System
Key Requirements
- A can-do attitude with great customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills (relationship building).
- Previous insurance experience is preferred but not essential.
