About Us
At UniSuper, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional retirement outcomes for our members. With a long history in the university sector, we are a place where future-minded Australians come together.

UniSuper Advice is the Home for Advice Professionals. We provide members with trusted advice that supports confident financial decisions through personal advice, digital solutions, education and strong partnerships with independent financial advisers. Our work is grounded in professionalism, collaboration and better retirement outcomes for members.

This is a great opportunity to join our External Adviser Partnerships team and build your experience in a specialist area of UniSuper’s Advice business. As an Adviser and Licensee Operations Consultant, you’ll support advisers, licensees and their support staff who work with UniSuper members, helping ensure key transactions, onboarding activities and service requests are delivered accurately and efficiently.

The role offers the chance to build strong relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, while developing deeper knowledge of adviser operations, service delivery, risk management and continuous improvement.

If you enjoy work that combines service delivery, operational detail, stakeholder interaction and problem solving, this permanent opportunity will give you the chance to contribute to a team that plays an important role in supporting quality advice outcomes for members.

The Role
As Adviser and Licensee Operations Consultant, you’ll support the onboarding and offboarding of licensees, advisers and their staff, while managing a range of adviser-related transactions and enquiries. You’ll work closely with advisers, licensees and internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality service and ensure activities are completed accurately and efficiently.

You’ll also contribute to process improvements, quality initiatives and business change activities that help enhance both the adviser experience and the way the team operates.

This is a hands-on role offering a mix of stakeholder interaction, problem solving and operational delivery in a supportive team environment.
What you’ll get exposure to

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Gain exposure to a specialised area of UniSuper’s Advice business.
  • Develop experience in adviser and licensee onboarding, offboarding and transaction management.
  • Build relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to service improvement, quality and operational readiness initiatives.
  • Strengthen your skills in prioritisation, risk awareness, stakeholder management and operational excellence.

About You
You don’t need to have done this exact role before. What will matter most is your ability to learn quickly, manage detail, communicate clearly and bring a strong service mindset to work that can be varied and high volume.

You’ll likely enjoy this opportunity if you:

  • Have experience in adviser support, licensee operations or another operational financial services environment.
  • Are confident managing competing priorities, enquiries, phone queues or transaction-based work accurately and efficiently.
  • Have strong attention to detail and a practical approach to risk, procedures, policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate well in writing and over the phone, and enjoy providing high-quality support to stakeholders.
  • Can work independently while also collaborating well across teams and business functions.
  • Are adaptable, curious and comfortable learning new systems, processes or ways of working.

What we offer
We believe that the best way to achieve great things is when we come together and collaborate. Therefore, we ask you to be able to commit to 60% of your time in office.

UniSuper’s high performance culture is supported by a range of benefits that demonstrate our commitment to ensuring our employees achieve their full potential, thrive, and grow their career with us. These include:

  • A personal development budget of $1500 to support employees in their professional growth

We believe that having a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, interests, abilities, and skills is crucial for delivering great retirement outcomes for our members.
