As the Affiliates Associate out of our Sydney office you will proactively support the senior team, taking responsibility for all administrative tasks within the team to ensure media campaigns run smoothly and to plan. You will build foundational knowledge and gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of media processes. 

What your typical day will look like 

The Affiliates Associate role with Carat is a great place to start and forge a career in the media industry. Reporting to the Affiliates Manager and Affiliates Director from our Sydney office, this role will enable you to build foundational knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of digital planning and buying, and exposure to advertising best practices across a variety of verticals to learn on the job.

 

This includes 

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external teams, contributing to effective working relationships with our clients, agency partners and media owners 

  • Support the team in managing the day to day operations of clients affiliates programs  so that we exceed targets for our clients 

  • Assist with onboarding, management and optimisation of affiliate partners  

  • Assistance with document preparation including WIP's, weekly and monthly performance reports, providing insights and actionable recommendations  

  • Monitor affiliates industry trends and competitor activity  

  • Support the execution of promotional campaigns, promote exclusive offers and seasonal initiatives 

  • Provide support and guidance on campaign analysis and client engagements, relationships, presentations and reporting 

A bit about you 

  • An interest and eagerness to learn and understand the entire media and advertising marketplace, particularly in digital and performance marketing. 

  • A demonstrated business acumen teamed with a knack for data and an ability to grasp numerical and mathematical concepts, as you will be working with data and extracting insights for reporting and identifying opportunities to optimise campaigns. 

  • An understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word. 

  • You are tech savvy and a practical thinker, having a natural flair for problem solving. 

  • You are happy collaborating and working within a team environment with strong communication skills.
