About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Lead, Infrastructure + Energy to spearhead the integration and scaling of Artificial Intelligence across our Infrastructure and Energy business line. This is a strategic leadership role that will shape how AI transforms operations, drives innovation, and delivers value for our clients and stakeholders.

Acting as both a strategic integrator and practitioner, this role aligns business objectives with AI strategy to create measurable value through capability development, community building, and solution adoption. The AI Lead partners with business leaders to shape AI roadmaps, embed AI solutions into operational workflows, and scale adoption through systematic enablement and governance. The role accelerates the transition from experimentation to enterprise impact, ensuring AI becomes an embedded driver of performance, innovation, and competitive differentiation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead AI Strategy & Execution: Define and implement the business line AI roadmap in alignment with the Global AI Studio and enterprise governance frameworks.
  • Drive AI Adoption & Capability Development: Champion AI integration across functions, enabling teams to leverage AI tools and methodologies effectively.
  • Foster Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with global and crossline AI teams to scale solutions, enhance performance, and embed a culture of innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years leading digital or AI transformation initiatives within complex organisations with an engineering design lens.
  • Expertise: Proven success delivering AI/ML or data-driven solutions from R&D to enterprise scale.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of LLMs, data engineering, AI ethics, and business process automation.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and mobilise cross-functional teams and practitioner communities.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge technical and business domains with clarity, influence and momentum.
  • Education: Advanced degree in AI, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Distinction: Recognised thought leader or subject matter expert in AI-driven transformation.
