A Snapshot
As AI Strategy Manager based in our HQ in Singapore or Australia, you will report to the Vice-President of Innovation and Intelligence and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:
- Technology Innovation: defining the infrastructure of the data centres of the future, with a focus on the requirements of the fast-evolving AI data centre capacities.
- Leadership: becoming AirTrunk’s subject matter expert on AI infrastructure and engaging with the broad industry: AI service providers, hardware manufacturers and integrators, etc.
- Strategy Development: Expanding and growing AirTrunk’s AI strategy, and researching and administering the intelligence around AI infrastructure: customer requirements, current and future technologies, geographical and geopolitical considerations, etc. Expanding and upgrading AirTrunk’s AI strategy.
Your Day to Day
- Maintain, update and execute AirTrunk’s AI strategy that covers how the product offering needs to evolve to meet future technologies.
- Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, understanding and documenting them. This includes researching written materials, participating in industry forums and events and engaging with thought leaders in the industry.
- Actively work with the Government Relations team to understand the development of different government regulations and restrictions of the implementation and use of AI within countries where AirTrunk and AirTrunk’s customers operate.
- Formulate the problem statements that the new data centre products need to align with, lead the research and development of those new products and assist the product management team into implementing those new products. Products range from specific equipment that fulfils a new function to new strategies around power and water generation and distribution across DC campuses and to new concepts for DC campuses.
- Collaborate with the different teams at AirTrunk providing support in AI related matters: integration of AI DC capacities, reviewing contracts.
- Research and application of AI technology, particularly supporting design process and design efficiency.
- Represent AirTrunk at industry conferences, workshops and meetings with stakeholders and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in AI, IT, electronics or any other relevant disciplines.
- Proven experience in design, implementation and/or operations of IT infrastructure. Experience in deployment IT infrastructure within HPC and ML environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware and network topologies used in IT infrastructure: chips, servers, network devices, ancillary devices, racks, etc. Particular relevance is the understanding of AI and Cloud infrastructure, Nvidia platforms and other related technologies.
- Deep understanding of the physical infrastructure around IT infrastructure requirements and components: land, energy, water, power, cooling, security, etc.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
