What You'll Do:
- Perform surface finishing tasks on aircraft and components, ensuring compliance with all technical documentation and quality standards.
- Certify completed work and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Provide supervision and on-the-job training to junior technicians.
- Collaborate with maintenance planning teams to support aircraft servicing schedules.
- Promote and uphold a safe working environment by following EH&S policies.
- Participate in shift rotations, including A and B shifts.
What We're Looking For:
- Certificate III in Aeroskills (Surface Finishing) or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and ability to self-certify maintenance tasks.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Negative Vetting 1).
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Hold a current C class driver's license.
- Previous experience in aircraft surface finishing is highly desirable.
- Additional qualifications such as Elevated Work Platform (TLILIC2005A), Work Safely at Heights (RIIOHS204A), and Confined Space training are advantageous.
