What You'll Bring:

TransUnion has created significant Identity solutions for data integration far beyond typical MDM packages.  This position is accountable for ensuring the continual improvement of advanced linking and matching algorithms through analysis, testing and documentation. This position requires developed analytical skills and strong communication skills. Participates with team members on projects by applying basic business, technical and analytical skills. Assists customers by researching problems and identifying solutions through testing and analysis and by answering basic algorithm questions. The emphasis of accountabilities is on analysis, testing and communication.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Analysis: Runs less complex, already established jobs and existing tools to gather and analyze data.  Documents routine detailed analysis results and the associated detailed summary to share with the internal team and business stakeholders.

2. Business Requirements: Updates existing algorithm-related documentation to support business requirements.

3. Testing Support: Provides assistance and feedback to Applications and Quality Assurance teams for routine algorithm test cases.

4. Customer Support / Communication: Supports basic customer issues and answers basic algorithm questions. Uses effective communication skills to convey problem solutions and updates to peers, customers and management.

5. Standards / Process Management: Learns and follows department and team standards utilizing department templates. Emphasis is on developing a complete understanding of Trans Union's application of algorithm standards.

6. Administration: Produces status reports according to department standards. Records project work hours through a time-tracking tool in a timely manner. Delivers work in accordance with customer's expected delivery dates and exceeds timeframes where feasible.

7. Peer Mentoring: Participates in reviews of peer deliverables to ensure quality business and design rules are created.

8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Advanced English
  • Degree in Mathematics.
  • Teaching experience is valued.
  • Skills in mathematics or statistics are desirable.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
