As the PMO Lead for Amplify, our Business Transformation Program based on SAP, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of this large-scale ERP project. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to oversee the entire project lifecycle, driving governance, reporting, resource management, financial control, and risk mitigation to achieve operational excellence.
You will report directly to the Program Director and be an integral member of the Program Leadership Team, responsible for establishing and maintaining robust program management standards across all aspects of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership & Oversight: Lead the Amplify PMO team to align with organizational goals and establish program management standards for large-scale ERP implementation. Ensure consistency in project delivery and adherence to Cochlear's methodology.
- Program Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage governance processes, and monitor risks, issues, and progress to align with business objectives.
- Resource, Vendor & Financial Management: Manage program finances, vendor compliance, and resource allocation. Ensure proper forecasting, reporting, and reconciliation to meet program goals.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track progress, identify risks, and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Analyze program data to drive improvements and optimize performance.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead quality improvements, attract top talent, and foster a performance-driven culture. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in line with Cochlear’s procedures.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience leading the PMO for large-scale ERP implementations, preferably SAP.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong ethical standards, with a reputation for honesty and trustworthiness.
- Highly motivated with a keen interest in cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- PM Certification (PMI or Prince2) is required.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with the medical device industry and healthcare marketplace.
- Experience with Process Improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Business Process Management (BPM).
- Demonstrated experience in project management covering all project stages, from initiation to delivery and embedding.
